Sally Morrison is a Sydney-based Interior designer, a honours graduate of the University of Technology interior design program, who specialises in the design of high end residential spaces. Sally works closely with her clients to understand their aesthetic.

Bachelor of Design in Interior Design (HNS)

With an in-depth knowledge of Scandinavian design and lifestyle, as well as mid-twentieth century furniture, Sally works closely with her clients to create minimalist havens which cultivate calm and comfort.

An emphasis is put on the furniture and materials to ensure that they are original in their design and sustainable in their manufacturing. Two principals with are important to the ethos of Sally’s design.

Sally grew up in a family of architects and designers and forged fond memories of scoring local, regional and international design stores with her parents. Learning along the way the masters of mid 20th century furniture, architects, designers and the importance that history and heritage play in our designs.

Sally has been fortunate to learn from some leading names in Australian design & styling including Tom Whitaker (WHO Architects) and Imogen Molines (Belle Magazine) as well international powerhouses such as Karen Howes of Taylor Howes Design and Christina Schmidt of Skandium in London.  During her academic studies Sally worked at leading Sydney Architectural practice CM+ International where she learnt the importance of originality, respecting heritage and fine attention to detail.

The experience and inspiration that Sally has gained from her time in the industry, growing up in a design family and her own travels of the work has allowed her to develop her own inimitable style.

How would you describe your style: minimalist, moody, mid 20th Century, Scandinavian?
